Small Steps Still Count (Especially the Invisible Ones)
I used to think healing had to look like progress - something I could measure or show.
But most of the real work happened in silence. In stillness. In not giving up.
Some days, my small step was brushing my hair.
Other days, it was turning off my phone.
And sometimes, it was simply letting myself cry without rushing to stop.
If all you did today was try - that counts.
And tomorrow, you get to try again.
